Description

Ike’s Place Jaymee Sirewich is a signature sandwich from Ike’s Place, known for its hearty ingredients and bold flavors. This sandwich combines a delicious mix of tender meats, melty cheese, and tangy sauces, all packed between a soft, fresh roll. It’s a popular choice for anyone craving a substantial and flavorful sandwich, perfect for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sandwich roll (Dutch crunch or any soft roll)
  • 3 oz turkey breast, sliced
  • 3 oz roast beef, sliced
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 slice provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp Ike’s sauce (or a blend of mayo, mustard, and a dash of hot sauce)
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • Olive oil (for toasting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your sandwich press or grill to medium heat.
  2. Slice the sandwich roll in half and lightly spread olive oil on the inside of each half to help toast it.
  3. On the bottom half of the roll, spread the Ike’s sauce evenly.
  4. Layer the sliced turkey breast and roast beef on top of the sauce.
  5. Place the slices of Swiss cheese and provolone cheese over the meats.
  6. Add the sliced tomato, shredded lettuce, and pickled jalapeños on top of the cheese.
  7. Close the sandwich and place it in the sandwich press or grill. Press and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the sandwich is toasted and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove the sandwich from the press, slice, and serve immediately. Enjoy your Ike’s Place Jaymee Sirewich with your favorite side dish!

Notes

  • If you prefer a spicier version, you can add more pickled jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce.
  • For a different twist, try adding avocado or a fried egg for extra creaminess and flavor.
  • This sandwich can also be made with other deli meats such as chicken or pastrami for variety.
