- 6 roasted jalapeños, peeled and chopped
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 6 oz white cheddar, shredded
- 1 tbsp chili powder or smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chili flakes, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven or broiler to high. Roast jalapeños until skins are blackened and blistered. Remove, let cool slightly, then peel and chop.
- In a food processor or blender, combine chopped jalapeños, cream cheese, white cheddar, chili powder (or smoked paprika), garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer to a serving bowl, sprinkle with chili flakes, and serve with tortilla chips or your favorite dippers.
Notes
- For a milder dip, remove the seeds from the jalapeños before blending.
- Add a splash of lime juice for a citrusy kick.
- Tastes great warm or cold. To serve warm, bake at 350°F for 10–15 minutes.
