Description

This Jalapeño Popper Crescent Roll Ring is a spicy, cheesy, and crowd-pleasing appetizer. Filled with cream cheese, jalapeños, crispy bacon, and shredded cheese, all wrapped in buttery crescent dough and baked to golden perfection. It’s the ultimate party snack or game-day treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (about 4 slices)
  • 23 fresh jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped (adjust to spice level)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional garnish: sliced jalapeños, chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar, Monterey Jack, crumbled bacon, chopped jalapeños, garlic powder, and salt until smooth and well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Arrange the triangles in a circle on the prepared baking sheet with the wide ends overlapping in the center and the pointed ends facing out (creating a sun-like shape).
  4. Spoon the jalapeño cheese mixture evenly around the center of the ring on the wide ends of the triangles.
  5. Fold the pointed ends of the dough over the filling and tuck under the center to seal the ring.
  6. Brush the dough with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let cool slightly, then garnish with sliced jalapeños or chopped green onions if desired. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use pickled jalapeños instead of fresh for a tangier flavor.
  • You can make the filling ahead of time and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before assembling.
  • Serve with ranch dressing or sour cream for dipping.
