- 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (about 4 slices)
- 2–3 fresh jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped (adjust to spice level)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Optional garnish: sliced jalapeños, chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar, Monterey Jack, crumbled bacon, chopped jalapeños, garlic powder, and salt until smooth and well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Arrange the triangles in a circle on the prepared baking sheet with the wide ends overlapping in the center and the pointed ends facing out (creating a sun-like shape).
- Spoon the jalapeño cheese mixture evenly around the center of the ring on the wide ends of the triangles.
- Fold the pointed ends of the dough over the filling and tuck under the center to seal the ring.
- Brush the dough with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly, then garnish with sliced jalapeños or chopped green onions if desired. Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- Use pickled jalapeños instead of fresh for a tangier flavor.
- You can make the filling ahead of time and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before assembling.
