Description
Key Lime Fudge is a smooth, creamy white chocolate fudge infused with fresh key lime flavor and zest — a tangy, tropical twist on a classic treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons key lime zest
- 1/4 cup key lime juice (fresh or bottled)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: green food coloring (1-2 drops for a light tint)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
- In a saucepan over medium-low heat, combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir constantly until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in key lime zest, juice, vanilla extract, salt, and food coloring (if using).
- Quickly pour mixture into the prepared dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or until set.
- Lift the fudge out using the parchment, cut into squares, and serve.
Notes
- Use fresh key lime juice for the best flavor, but bottled key lime juice works well too.
- For added texture, top with crushed graham crackers before chilling.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
