Description

Key Lime Fudge is a smooth, creamy white chocolate fudge infused with fresh key lime flavor and zest — a tangy, tropical twist on a classic treat.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons key lime zest
  • 1/4 cup key lime juice (fresh or bottled)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: green food coloring (1-2 drops for a light tint)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
  2. In a saucepan over medium-low heat, combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir constantly until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in key lime zest, juice, vanilla extract, salt, and food coloring (if using).
  4. Quickly pour mixture into the prepared dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or until set.
  6. Lift the fudge out using the parchment, cut into squares, and serve.

Notes

  • Use fresh key lime juice for the best flavor, but bottled key lime juice works well too.
  • For added texture, top with crushed graham crackers before chilling.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
