Description
Deliciously marinated tofu skewers infused with fresh lemon juice and fragrant coriander, perfect for grilling or baking.
Ingredients

- 400g firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix lemon juice, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, chopped coriander, cumin, chili flakes, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and toss gently to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Thread the marinated tofu cubes onto the skewers.
- Preheat the grill or oven to 200°C (390°F).
- Grill the skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until golden and slightly charred. Alternatively, bake in the oven on a lined tray for 20 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Serve hot with a side salad or rice.
Notes
- Press tofu well to remove excess water for better texture.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- Can be served with a mint yogurt dip or tahini sauce.
