Description
Lemon Lavender Margaritas are a refreshing cocktail blending tequila with fresh lemon juice and fragrant lavender syrup, perfect for a sunny afternoon or special occasion.

- 2 oz tequila blanco
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 oz lavender simple syrup (see note)
- 1/2 oz triple sec or orange liqueur
- Ice cubes
- Lemon wheel and lavender sprig for garnish
- Salt or sugar for rimming the glass (optional)
Instructions
- If desired, rim your glass with lemon juice and dip into salt or sugar. Set aside.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add tequila, fresh lemon juice, lavender simple syrup, and triple sec.
- Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a lemon wheel and a sprig of lavender.
Notes
- Lavender Simple Syrup: Combine 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and steep for 20 minutes. Strain and cool before use.
- Adjust sweetness by varying lavender syrup amount.
- For a twist, substitute lemon juice with lime juice.
