Description

These Loaded Brownie Cheesecake Dessert Cups are the perfect combination of rich brownie, creamy cheesecake, and decadent toppings. Individually served in cute cups, they make a perfect dessert for parties, gatherings, or a sweet treat to enjoy anytime.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients called for on the box, usually oil, eggs, and water)
  • 1 1/2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional, for topping)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions and pour the batter evenly into the muffin tin, filling each cup about halfway. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the brownies cool completely.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla extract, eggs, and sour cream, mixing until fully combined and smooth.
  4. Carefully spoon the cheesecake mixture on top of each cooled brownie cup, filling the cups about 3/4 of the way full.
  5. Bake for another 18-20 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set and slightly golden on top. Let the cups cool completely in the pan, then transfer them to the fridge to chill for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  6. Before serving, drizzle each cup with caramel sauce, sprinkle with mini chocolate chips, chopped nuts, and top with a dollop of whipped cream if desired.

Notes

  • For a gluten-free version, use a gluten-free brownie mix.
  • Feel free to swap the caramel sauce for chocolate syrup or add other toppings like crushed Oreos or berries.
  • If you don’t have muffin liners, grease the muffin tin or use silicone molds for easy removal.
