Instructions
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into strips. Wrap them in a spiral to form the lobster tail shape.
- Bake the pastry shells until golden brown.
- For the filling, heat milk and sugar in a saucepan. Whisk egg yolks with cornstarch and vanilla, then temper with the hot milk.
- Cook until thickened, then cool completely.
- Whip cream to stiff peaks and fold into the custard mixture.
- Pipe the filling into the cooled pastry shells and dust with powdered sugar.
