Description

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  • Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
  • Dredge chicken in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  • Sear the chicken in olive oil until golden brown.
  • Place in the baking dish, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella, then bake until cooked through.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
