- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Dredge chicken in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Sear the chicken in olive oil until golden brown.
- Place in the baking dish, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella, then bake until cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
