Instructions
- Make the Crepe Batter:
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, water, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, whisking until you have a smooth, thin batter. Let the batter rest for 10-15 minutes.
- Cook the Crepes:
- Heat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium heat and lightly coat with butter or oil.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter into the pan, swirling it around to coat the bottom evenly.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the edges start to lift and the bottom is golden. Flip and cook the other side for another minute. Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Prepare the Malteser Filling:
- In a bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold in the Nutella and crushed Maltesers until well combined.
- Assemble the Malteser Crepe Rolls:
- Spread a generous amount of the Malteser filling onto each crepe.
- Roll the crepes up tightly, folding them like a wrap or rolling them into logs.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Slice the rolled crepes into bite-sized pieces if desired and top with extra crushed or whole Maltesers for garnish.
- Serve immediately for a warm, gooey treat, or refrigerate for a chilled dessert!
