Description
This Maple Glazed Turkey Breast is tender, juicy, and coated with a deliciously sweet and tangy glaze, making it perfect for holiday meals or any special occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 boneless turkey breast (about 3–4 lbs)
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan, skin side up.
- Season the Turkey: Rub the turkey breast generously with salt and pepper. Set aside while you prepare the glaze.
- Make the Maple Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, melted butter, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and thyme.
- Roast the Turkey: Brush about half of the maple glaze over the turkey breast. Place the turkey in the preheated oven and roast for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Baste with Glaze: Every 20 minutes during roasting, baste the turkey with more of the maple glaze to create a rich, caramelized coating.
- Rest the Turkey: Once the turkey is cooked through, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. This helps the juices redistribute, making the turkey moist and flavorful.
- Serve: Slice the turkey and serve with your favorite side dishes.
Notes
- Use pure maple syrup for the best flavor.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of maple syrup to suit your taste.
