Description

  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan, skin side up.
  • Season the Turkey: Rub the turkey breast generously with salt and pepper. Set aside while you prepare the glaze.
  • Make the Maple Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, melted butter, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and thyme.
  • Roast the Turkey: Brush about half of the maple glaze over the turkey breast. Place the turkey in the preheated oven and roast for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Baste with Glaze: Every 20 minutes during roasting, baste the turkey with more of the maple glaze to create a rich, caramelized coating.
  • Rest the Turkey: Once the turkey is cooked through, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. This helps the juices redistribute, making the turkey moist and flavorful.
