Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Cook fries according to package instructions or bake until crispy and golden.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat.
  3. Add diced onions and green bell peppers; sauté until soft and slightly caramelized.
  4. Add ground beef, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until beef is browned and cooked through, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  5. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  6. Place cooked fries on an oven-safe dish and evenly top with the beef and pepper mixture.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake or broil for 3-5 minutes until cheese melts and bubbles.
