- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup milk (for pancake batter)
- 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing the pan)
- Maple syrup, for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Break the sausage into small crumbles while cooking. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Prepare the pancake batter according to the instructions on the package, adding 1 tablespoon of maple syrup into the batter for a subtle sweet flavor.
- Grease a mini muffin tin with butter or cooking spray. Pour the pancake batter into the muffin cups, filling each about ⅔ full.
- Add a spoonful of cooked sausage crumbles and a pinch of shredded cheddar cheese into each muffin cup.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 12-15 minutes or until the pancake bites are golden and cooked through.
