A delicious fusion of classic meatloaf and grilled cheese, featuring hearty slices of meatloaf melted with gooey cheese between buttery toasted bread.

- 4 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
- 8 oz leftover meatloaf, sliced about 1/2 inch thick
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- Optional: ketchup or BBQ sauce for spreading
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place two slices, butter-side down, on the skillet.
- Layer each with slices of meatloaf, then a slice or two of cheddar cheese.
- Top with remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted, pressing gently with a spatula.
- Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, then slice and serve. Optionally, serve with ketchup or BBQ sauce for dipping.

- Use freshly cooked or leftover meatloaf.
- Add sautéed onions or pickles for extra flavor.
