Description

A creamy and indulgent dip that combines the refreshing taste of mint with chocolatey goodness. Perfect for parties, this mint chocolate chip dip is a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 12 drops green food coloring (optional, for that classic minty hue)
  • 1 cup whipped topping (or whipped heavy cream)
  • ¾ cup mini chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup chopped Andes mints or chocolate chunks (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix the base: In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add sweetness & flavor: Mix in powdered sugar, vanilla, and peppermint extract. If using, add a drop or two of green food coloring for that minty look.
  3. Fold in the fluff: Gently fold in the whipped topping until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the chocolate chips: Stir in mini chocolate chips and chopped Andes mints (if using).

Notes

  • If you prefer a less sweet dip, reduce the powdered sugar to ¾ cup.
  • You can substitute the Andes mints with chocolate chunks or mini chocolate bars.
  • This dip can be served with fruit, cookies, or graham crackers.
