Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Red pepper flakes to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it up with a spoon.
  4. Add minced garlic and ginger; sautรฉ for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, water, brown sugar, hoisin sauce (if using), and sesame oil.
  6. Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet with the beef, stir to combine, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss well to coat evenly with the sauce.
  8. Sprinkle with sliced green onions and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot.
