These Nacho Cheese Beef Wraps are a delicious combination of seasoned ground beef, creamy nacho cheese, and crunchy Doritos, all wrapped up in a soft flour tortilla. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a game day treat!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 can Rotel (green chilis with diced tomatoes)
- ½ cup chopped green peppers
- ½ cup diced onions
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- Doritos (Nacho Cheese flavored), crushed
- 4 flour tortilla wraps
- Shredded lettuce
Instructions
- In a skillet, crumble and brown the ground beef over medium heat until thoroughly cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the diced onions and chopped green peppers to the skillet. Sauté for about 4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the taco seasoning packet, ensuring the beef and vegetables are evenly coated.
- In a separate bowl, combine the Rotel and nacho cheese sauce. Stir well to mix.
- Lay the four flour tortillas flat on a clean surface.
- Spoon a layer of the nacho cheese mixture down the center of each tortilla.
- Top with the beef mixture, a dollop of sour cream, additional onions, peppers, and crushed Doritos for extra crunch.
- Fold in the sides of the tortillas and roll them up tightly like burritos.
- Heat another skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and toast until crispy on both sides, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve immediately, topped with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Customize the wraps with your favorite toppings like salsa, guacamole, or additional cheese.
- For a vegetarian version, substitute the ground beef with black beans or lentils.
