Description

Nature’s Gatorade is a refreshing, all-natural drink made from simple ingredients that hydrate and replenish your body. It’s the perfect alternative to store-bought sports drinks, packed with electrolytes and natural sweetness to keep you energized.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut water
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice (about 1 orange)
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 12 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (for electrolytes)

  • 2 cups cold water

Instructions

  1. Juice the citrus fruits:
Squeeze the juice from the fresh oranges and lemons, making sure to remove any seeds.

  2. Mix the ingredients:
In a large pitcher, combine the coconut water, fresh orange juice, fresh lemon juice, honey or maple syrup (if using), and sea salt.

  3. Add water:
Pour in the cold water and stir well to combine all the ingredients.

  4. Chill and serve:
Refrigerate the drink for about 1 hour before serving for a cold and refreshing experience. You can also add ice cubes for immediate chilling.

  5. Serve:
Pour into glasses and enjoy! Perfect for rehydrating after a workout or just as a refreshing beverage on a hot day.

Notes

  • If you prefer a sweeter drink, feel free to add more honey or maple syrup to taste.
  • This drink can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but is best enjoyed fresh.

  • You can substitute the coconut water with another electrolyte-rich water if you prefer.
