Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place chicken breasts in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. In a bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter. Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the cheese layer.
  7. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and topping is golden brown.
  8. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
