Description

Tender beef tips cooked to perfection in the Ninja Foodi with a sweet and savory teriyaki glaze. This easy, flavorful dish pairs perfectly with rice or vegetables and is great for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin tips or stew meat, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water (for slurry)
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Turn the Ninja Foodi to ‘Sauté’ and heat the vegetable oil. Add the beef tips and brown on all sides, working in batches if needed. Remove and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, water, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Return the beef to the pot and pour the teriyaki mixture over it. Stir to coat evenly.
  4. Seal the lid, set to ‘Pressure Cook’ on high for 15 minutes. Make sure the valve is set to ‘Seal’.
  5. Once done, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  6. Turn the Foodi back to ‘Sauté’. Mix cornstarch with cold water to make a slurry and stir it into the pot. Cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired. Serve over rice or steamed vegetables.

Notes

  • You can substitute beef with chicken or tofu for variation.
  • For extra flavor, marinate the beef in the teriyaki sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the Foodi or microwave.
