Description

No Bake Coconut Cream Balls are a delightful holiday treat made with creamy cream cheese, sweet powdered sugar, and shredded coconut, all coated in a smooth layer of chocolate. Perfect for holiday parties or as a gift!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 12 oz bag melting chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Prepare Your Workspace: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Make the Coconut Cream Mixture: In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing well. Stir in the shredded coconut and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Shape the Coconut Cream Balls: Dust your hands with powdered sugar to prevent sticking. Roll the coconut mixture into balls and place them on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 1 hour.
  • Prepare the Chocolate Coating: Melt the chocolate chips according to the package instructions, either in the microwave or over low heat on the stovetop.
  • Dip the Coconut Balls in Chocolate: Using a fork, coat each coconut ball in the melted chocolate, then place them back on the baking sheet.
  • Set the Chocolate: Chill the chocolate-coated balls in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes until the chocolate is fully set.
  • Serve and Store: Serve immediately or store the coconut cream balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • For added texture, you can roll the coconut balls in crushed nuts or additional shredded coconut after dipping them in chocolate.
  • These balls are best stored in the refrigerator and will stay fresh for up to a week.
