Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 24 Oreo cookies (crushed)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)

For the Filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate pudding (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup whipped topping (plus extra for garnish)

For the Topping:

  • 1/2 cup whipped cream (or whipped topping)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips
  • 34 whole Oreos (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the crust:
    • Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. You can do this by pulsing them in a food processor or placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
    • In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter until the crumbs are evenly coated.
    • Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan to form a crust. Use the back of a spoon to pack it tightly. Place in the fridge to set while you make the filling.
  • Make the filling:
    • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
    • Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until well-combined.
    • Gently fold in the chocolate pudding until smooth.
    • Lastly, fold in the whipped topping, creating a fluffy, creamy mixture.
  • Assemble the pie:
    • Spoon the filling onto the prepared Oreo crust, spreading it out evenly.
    • Refrigerate the pie for at least 3 hours, or until the filling is set.
  • Prepare the topping:
    • Before serving, spread whipped cream (or whipped topping) over the chilled pie.
    • Garnish with chocolate shavings, mini chocolate chips, and whole Oreos for added texture and decoration.
  • Serve:
    • Slice and enjoy your delicious No-Bake Oreo Mud Pie!

Notes

  • You can use any type of chocolate pudding mix, but make sure it’s chilled before adding to the cream cheese mixture for the best texture.
  • For a more decadent topping, you can drizzle chocolate syrup over the pie before serving.
  • If you prefer a firmer filling, you can freeze the pie for 30 minutes before serving for a more solid texture.
