Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust:
- 24 Oreo cookies (crushed)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
For the Filling:
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate pudding (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup whipped topping (plus extra for garnish)
For the Topping:
- 1/2 cup whipped cream (or whipped topping)
- 1/4 cup chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips
- 3–4 whole Oreos (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the crust:
- Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. You can do this by pulsing them in a food processor or placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
- In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter until the crumbs are evenly coated.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan to form a crust. Use the back of a spoon to pack it tightly. Place in the fridge to set while you make the filling.
- Make the filling:
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
- Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until well-combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate pudding until smooth.
- Lastly, fold in the whipped topping, creating a fluffy, creamy mixture.
- Assemble the pie:
- Spoon the filling onto the prepared Oreo crust, spreading it out evenly.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 3 hours, or until the filling is set.
- Prepare the topping:
- Before serving, spread whipped cream (or whipped topping) over the chilled pie.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings, mini chocolate chips, and whole Oreos for added texture and decoration.
- Serve:
- Slice and enjoy your delicious No-Bake Oreo Mud Pie!
Notes
- You can use any type of chocolate pudding mix, but make sure it’s chilled before adding to the cream cheese mixture for the best texture.
- For a more decadent topping, you can drizzle chocolate syrup over the pie before serving.
- If you prefer a firmer filling, you can freeze the pie for 30 minutes before serving for a more solid texture.
