- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), thawed
- 1 package graham crackers (about 9 full sheets), crushed
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- Optional: maraschino cherries or shredded coconut for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9-inch pan to form the crust. Chill in the fridge while you prepare the filling.
- Make the Pineapple Cream: In a large bowl, add the can of crushed pineapple (with juice) and the vanilla pudding mix. Stir until the mixture thickens slightly and is well combined.
- Add Whipped Topping: Fold in the whipped topping gently until everything is combined, creating a light, fluffy pineapple cream.
- Assemble the Dessert: Spread the pineapple cream mixture over the graham cracker crust, smoothing it out evenly.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set. When ready to serve, garnish with maraschino cherries or a sprinkle of shredded coconut, if desired.
