Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise or softened butter
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a muffin tin with cupcake liners. - Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. - Add Wet Ingredients:
Add the milk and mayonnaise (or softened butter) to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined—don’t overmix! The dough will be sticky. - Portion the Dough:
Scoop the dough into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full. - Bake:
Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown. - Serve:
Remove from the oven and brush the tops with melted butter for extra flavor. Serve warm!
Notes
- For an extra touch, you can brush the rolls with garlic butter after baking.
- If you don’t have mayonnaise, softened butter can be used as a substitute for richness.
