- 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and chopped

- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or almonds (optional for crunch)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional for added fiber and omega-3s)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and optional chia seeds and nuts. Stir to combine.
- Add the chopped apples to the oat mixture and stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract.
- Pour the almond milk into the mixture and stir everything together until well combined.
- Pour the oat mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the oats have absorbed most of the liquid.
- Let the oatmeal bake cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
