Description

One Pot Beefaroni is a classic, hearty pasta dish where ground beef, pasta, and tomato sauce simmer together for a quick and delicious meal with minimal cleanup.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni or any small pasta
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a large pot or deep skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion and garlic; sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes with juice, beef broth, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add pasta and stir to combine.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and most liquid is absorbed, about 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
