Description
This easy and flavorful one-pot creamy beef and garlic butter pasta is a quick weeknight dinner that combines tender beef, rich garlic butter sauce, and pasta—all cooked in one pot for a simple cleanup!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 12 oz pasta (such as penne, rotini, or spaghetti)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat butter over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Add minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the beef, and cook for an additional minute, stirring constantly.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring it to a simmer. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the liquid has mostly absorbed (about 10-12 minutes).
- Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if necessary.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can substitute half of the heavy cream with milk.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can add more Parmesan cheese or a little cornstarch mixed with water.
- Add vegetables like spinach or peas for extra flavor and nutrients.
