Description

This easy and flavorful one-pot creamy beef and garlic butter pasta is a quick weeknight dinner that combines tender beef, rich garlic butter sauce, and pasta—all cooked in one pot for a simple cleanup!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 12 oz pasta (such as penne, rotini, or spaghetti)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat butter over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  2. Add minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the beef, and cook for an additional minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Pour in the beef broth and bring it to a simmer. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the liquid has mostly absorbed (about 10-12 minutes).
  4. Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if necessary.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can substitute half of the heavy cream with milk.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can add more Parmesan cheese or a little cornstarch mixed with water.
  • Add vegetables like spinach or peas for extra flavor and nutrients.
