Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tbsp fresh orange juice (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. While the cookies are cooling, mix the powdered sugar and orange juice together to create the glaze.
  9. Once the cookies are completely cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top.
  10. Let the glaze set for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
