Description

Sweet, caramelized bananas with a hint of cinnamon, lightly pan-fried for a warm and delicious snack or dessert. Perfect to serve with ice cream, pancakes, or oatmeal.

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat until melted.
  • In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Add the banana slices to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes, until lightly browned.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the bananas and cook for another 1-2 minutes, flipping occasionally until the bananas are caramelized and golden.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, cooking for another 30 seconds.
  • Remove from heat and serve immediately. Drizzle with maple syrup or honey if desired.
