Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Tajin seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp chopped cilantro (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the Tajin seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Drizzle the chicken with lime juice and garnish with chopped cilantro if desired. Serve immediately with your favorite sides, such as rice, vegetables, or tortillas.
Notes
- If you prefer a spicier version, add extra Tajin seasoning or a dash of hot sauce to the chicken.
- For a low-carb option, serve the chicken with a side of sautéed vegetables or a fresh salad.
- This recipe can also be made with chicken thighs for a juicier result.
