  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
    • In another shallow dish, beat the eggs.
    • Dredge each chicken breast first in the flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to make sure the coating sticks.
  2. Cook the Chicken:
    • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the coated chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F). Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
    • Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Assemble and Serve:
