  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter option)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: extra Parmesan and chopped fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally to create four thin cutlets. Pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Press each chicken cutlet into the Parmesan-flour mixture, ensuring both sides are coated. Shake off excess.
  4. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken cutlets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sautรฉ for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Pour in heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Stir and scrape up browned bits from the pan.
  7. Simmer sauce for 2-3 minutes until thickened and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  8. Return chicken to the pan and spoon sauce over the top. Heat for 1 minute to combine flavors.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan and parsley if desired.
