For the donuts:
- 1 can biscuit dough (or homemade dough)
- Oil for frying
For the cheesecake filling:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the peach cobbler filling:
- 2 cups diced peaches (fresh or canned)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F. Flatten the biscuit dough slightly, then fry until golden brown and puffed. Drain on paper towels.
- Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, cook the peaches, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the mixture thickens. Cool slightly.
- Mix the peach cobbler filling with the cheesecake filling. Transfer to a piping bag.
- Use a knife to make a small hole in each donut. Pipe in the peach cobbler cheesecake filling.
- Serve warm or cooled.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can sprinkle powdered sugar on top of the donuts before serving.
- You can also substitute canned peaches for fresh peaches if necessary.
