Description

Peach Fluff is a light, creamy dessert that combines the sweetness of fresh peaches with a fluffy, marshmallow base. This easy-to-make dish is perfect for potlucks, summer gatherings, or just a sweet treat. With its refreshing peach flavor and smooth texture, it’s a crowd-pleaser that requires minimal ingredients and effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (15 oz) peach slices, drained and chopped
  • 1 (8 oz) container of whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 (5 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for added crunch)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the base:

    • In a large bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mix and sour cream. Mix until smooth and well-combined.
  2. Add the whipped topping:

    • Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until it’s fully incorporated into the pudding mixture.
  3. Add the peaches and marshmallows:

    • Stir in the chopped peaches, making sure to distribute them evenly throughout the fluff mixture.
    • Add the mini marshmallows and mix them in gently.
  4. Add the nuts (optional):

    • If you’re using chopped pecans or walnuts, stir them into the mixture at this point for an added crunch.
  5. Chill and serve:

    • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, allowing the flavors to meld and the dessert to firm up slightly.
    • Serve chilled, and enjoy the fluffy, creamy Peach Fluff!

Notes

  • You can substitute the canned peaches for fresh peaches, but you may want to add a little more sweetness if using fresh fruit.
  • Feel free to use any other fruit, like pineapple or mandarin oranges, in place of the peaches for a twist on the classic.

  • This dessert can be made a day ahead of time for extra convenience.
