Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (128g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup (150g) granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup (165g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups (281g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 1/2 cups (255g) peanut butter chips
  • 1 1/2 cups (255g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and sea salt. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, combine the softened butter and peanut butter until smooth.
  • Gradually add the granulated and brown sugars, mixing until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  • Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the peanut butter chips and chocolate chips.
  • Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
  • Allow to cool in the pan, then lift out using the parchment paper and cut into squares.

Notes

For an extra touch, sprinkle some sea salt on top before baking for a sweet and salty contrast.
