Description

This Pecan Pie Bark combines the rich, buttery flavors of pecan pie with the ease of a bark recipe. Perfect for holiday parties or as a sweet gift, this treat is made with graham crackers, salted butter, brown sugar, and chopped pecans, all baked to perfection. Easy, quick, and irresistible!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sticks salted butter (1 cup)
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 package graham crackers (about 14 crackers)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Melt Butter and Sugar: In a heavy pan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together until the sugar is completely dissolved, creating a smooth caramel sauce.
  • Add Vanilla and Pecans: Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Then, add the chopped pecans and mix well.
  • Assemble the Bark: Arrange the graham crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking tray. Pour the pecan mixture evenly over the graham crackers.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, until the mixture is bubbling and lightly golden.
  • Cool and Cut: Remove from the oven and let it cool completely. Once cooled, break the bark into pieces or cut into squares.
  • Serve and Enjoy: Serve at room temperature as a sweet snack or holiday treat!

Notes

  • Store Pecan Pie Bark in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1-2 weeks.
  • This treat also makes a wonderful holiday gift. Simply package in cute gift boxes or jars.
  • You can drizzle melted chocolate on top after cooling for an added layer of flavor.
