Description

Pepperoni Pizza Tacos combine two of your favorite foods—pizza and tacos—into one delicious handheld treat. With a crispy taco shell filled with melted cheese, savory pepperoni, and pizza sauce, these tacos make for a fun and easy meal that’s perfect for pizza lovers!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 small taco shells (soft or hard, your choice)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2025 slices of pepperoni
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
  • Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the taco shells: If using soft taco shells, lightly brush each with olive oil and place them in the oven for 5-7 minutes to crisp them up. If using hard taco shells, you can skip this step.
  3. Assemble the tacos: Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce into the bottom of each taco shell. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce, followed by a few slices of pepperoni. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the pepperoni, and then sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder.
  4. Bake the tacos: Place the assembled tacos on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the taco shells are golden and crispy.
  5. Serve: Remove the tacos from the oven and garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy your pepperoni pizza tacos!

Notes

  • You can use any type of cheese you like, such as cheddar or provolone, for variety.
  • If you want to add more toppings, feel free to include sliced bell peppers, onions, or olives before baking.
  • For a more authentic pizza flavor, you can brush the taco shells with a little pizza sauce before adding the cheese and pepperoni.
