Description

This Pineapple Fluff is a creamy, refreshing dessert that’s perfect for any occasion. Made with pineapple, marshmallows, whipped topping, and a few simple ingredients, it’s a sweet and tangy treat that’s light and fluffy. The perfect dessert for potlucks or summer gatherings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (or 1 container of whipped topping)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (optional for extra creaminess)

  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes (optional, for added flavor)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base:

    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained crushed pineapple, vanilla pudding mix, mini marshmallows, and sour cream (if using). Stir until well mixed.
  2. Whip the Cream:

    • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, or you can simply fold in the whipped topping for a quicker option.
  3. Combine:

    • Gently fold the whipped cream or whipped topping into the pineapple mixture until smooth and fully combined.
  4. Chill:

    • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the texture to firm up a bit.
  5. Serve:

    • Before serving, sprinkle with coconut flakes (if using) for extra flavor and garnish. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

  • Substitutions: You can use Greek yogurt in place of sour cream for a healthier option or use pineapple chunks instead of crushed pineapple for more texture.
  • Flavor Variations: Add some chopped maraschino cherries, mandarin oranges, or berries for extra flavor and color.

  • Make Ahead: This dish can be made the night before for convenience and the flavors will deepen after sitting in the fridge.
