A delicious mashup of two favorites, these pizza burgers combine juicy grilled beef patties with pizza sauce, melty mozzarella cheese, and savory pepperoni on toasted buns. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a fun weekend treat!

- 1 lb ground beef (80% lean / 20% fat)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 16–24 slices pepperoni
Instructions
- Prepare Patties: In a large bowl, mix ground beef with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined. Shape into 4 patties and let them rest.
- Toast Buns: Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high. Arrange buns, cut side up, on a baking sheet and toast under a broiler until golden. Remove top halves and set aside.
- Grill Patties: Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- Assemble Bottom Buns: While burgers are cooking, warm the pizza sauce over low heat. Spread half of the sauce on the bottom buns, add half of the mozzarella, and arrange pepperoni slices. Broil for 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Assemble and Broil: Place cooked patties on the bottom buns, topping with remaining sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni. Broil until the cheese melts. Add the top bun halves.
