Description
Mini pizza cupcakes made by baking pizza dough in a muffin tin, filled with tomato sauce, cheese, and your favorite pizza toppings. Perfect for parties or snacks!

- 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices or chopped pepperoni
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- Grated Parmesan cheese for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
- Divide pizza dough into 12 equal pieces. Press each piece into the bottom and up the sides of each muffin cup to form a cup shape.
- Spoon about 1 tbsp of pizza sauce into each dough cup.
- Add a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
- Add desired toppings such as pepperoni, olives, bell peppers, and mushrooms.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning over each cup.
- Top each with a little more mozzarella cheese and a sprinkle of Parmesan if using.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the dough is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before removing from the tin and serving.
Notes
- Feel free to customize toppings to your preference.
- Use pre-made pizza dough for convenience or make your own dough.
- These can be made ahead and reheated in the oven or microwave.
- Serve with extra pizza sauce or ranch for dipping.
