Description

Mini pizza cupcakes made by baking pizza dough in a muffin tin, filled with tomato sauce, cheese, and your favorite pizza toppings. Perfect for parties or snacks!


Ingredients

  • 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices or chopped pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. Divide pizza dough into 12 equal pieces. Press each piece into the bottom and up the sides of each muffin cup to form a cup shape.
  3. Spoon about 1 tbsp of pizza sauce into each dough cup.
  4. Add a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  5. Add desired toppings such as pepperoni, olives, bell peppers, and mushrooms.
  6. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over each cup.
  7. Top each with a little more mozzarella cheese and a sprinkle of Parmesan if using.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the dough is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before removing from the tin and serving.

  • Feel free to customize toppings to your preference.
  • Use pre-made pizza dough for convenience or make your own dough.
  • These can be made ahead and reheated in the oven or microwave.
