Description

Pizza Stuffed Waffle Snacks are crispy, cheesy mini pizza pockets made in a waffle iron! Filled with melty mozzarella, pepperoni, and your favorite pizza sauce, these waffle snacks are kid-friendly, dippable, and perfect for lunchboxes, parties, or anytime cravings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni or chopped regular pepperoni
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron and lightly grease it with cooking spray or oil.
  2. Roll out pizza dough and cut into even rectangles (about the size of your waffle iron sections).
  3. On half of the rectangles, spread a spoonful of pizza sauce in the center. Top with mozzarella, pepperoni, and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
  4. Place a second dough rectangle over each and press the edges to seal. Use a fork to crimp the sides if needed.
  5. Place stuffed dough pockets into the waffle iron and cook for 3–5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove carefully, brush tops with olive oil or butter, and let cool slightly. Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
