Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz silver tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec (or Cointreau)
  • 2 oz pomegranate juice
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedge and pomegranate seeds (for garnish)
  • Salt or sugar for rimming the glass (optional)


Instructions

  1. Rim the edge of a margarita glass with lime juice and dip into salt or sugar (if desired). Set aside.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, triple sec, pomegranate juice, lime juice, and simple syrup.
