Description

Juicy, herb-crusted porchetta slices piled high on crusty bread with creamy garlic herb mayo for a delicious sandwich experience.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 400g cooked porchetta, sliced thinly
  • 4 sandwich rolls or ciabatta buns
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: arugula or lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, garlic, parsley, rosemary, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the garlic herb mayo.
  2. Slice the sandwich rolls and spread a generous amount of garlic herb mayo on each half.
  3. Layer slices of porchetta on the bottom half of each roll.
  4. Add arugula or lettuce if desired.
  5. Top with the other half of the roll and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use leftover porchetta or purchase pre-cooked from a deli.
  • For a smoky flavor, lightly toast the sandwich rolls before assembling.
  • Garlic herb mayo can be prepared a day ahead and refrigerated.
