These Pretzel Oreo Balls are a sweet and salty treat that will wow everyone! With a crunchy pretzel exterior and a creamy, decadent Oreo center, then dipped in smooth chocolate—these bite-sized delights are the perfect dessert for any occasion. Whether you’re hosting a party, looking for a fun treat for the holidays, or just craving something irresistible, these Oreo balls are sure to hit the spot!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (15 oz) Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup pretzels (broken into pieces)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (for dipping, or white chocolate for a twist)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (optional, for thinning the chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling:
In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Place the crushed Oreos into a large mixing bowl. Add the softened cream cheese and mix until smooth and fully combined. You can use your hands or a spoon to mix. Stir in the pretzel pieces until evenly distributed.

  2. Form the balls:
Using a spoon or your hands, take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls (about 1 inch in size). Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet or tray.

  3. Chill the balls:
Once all the balls are formed, place the tray in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to an hour, or until the balls are firm and chilled.

  4. Dip in chocolate:
While the balls are chilling, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted. If you’d like a smoother dip, stir in a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Once melted, dip each chilled ball into the chocolate, covering it completely. You can also drizzle some chocolate over the top for an extra touch.

  5. Chill again:
Place the chocolate-dipped Oreo balls back on the parchment-lined tray. Return them to the refrigerator for another 15-20 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.

  6. Serve and enjoy:
Once the chocolate has set, the Pretzel Oreo Balls are ready to serve! Enjoy these irresistible treats with family and friends.

Notes

  • You can use milk chocolate, white chocolate, or even dark chocolate depending on your preference.
  • If you prefer a more intense pretzel flavor, you can increase the amount of pretzel pieces in the filling.
  • Store the Oreo balls in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze them for longer storage.
