Ingredients

  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 2 ounces white chocolate, roughly chopped
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  • Heat the Ingredients:
    In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, ground cloves, and vanilla. Stir constantly until the mixture starts to simmer.
  • Melt the Chocolate:
    Remove the saucepan from heat and add the chopped white chocolate. Whisk until the chocolate is fully melted and incorporated.
  • Serve:
    Pour the hot chocolate into mugs. Top with whipped cream, and garnish with a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon and extra white chocolate shavings, if desired.

Notes

Slow Cooker Instructions (for larger batches):
Multiply the ingredients (x4 for 8 servings). Add everything except the chocolate to the slow cooker and whisk to combine. Add the chopped chocolate and cook on low for 2 hours until the chocolate is melted. Serve with mugs, whipped cream, and other toppings.
