Description

A deliciously quick and easy stir-fry with tender chicken, flavorful honey garlic sauce, and lo mein noodles. Perfect for a busy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb cooked chicken, sliced
  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the cooked chicken, honey, and soy sauce. Mix well.
  4. Add the lo mein noodles to the pan and toss everything together until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with green onions if desired.

Notes

  • Feel free to swap the mixed vegetables with your favorites, such as snow peas, mushrooms, or bok choy.
  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or chili paste.
