Description

A decadent and visually stunning dessert featuring layers of rich red velvet cake, creamy white chocolate pudding, and fresh mixed berries, perfect for any celebration or gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 red velvet cake, cubed
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant white chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 16 oz whipped topping
  • Mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

Instructions

  • Make the pudding: In a large bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and thick.
  • Prepare the cream cheese mixture: In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Gently fold in half of the whipped topping.
  • Assemble the trifle: In a trifle bowl, layer the cubed red velvet cake, pudding mixture, cream cheese mixture, and a layer of mixed berries. Repeat layers as desired, ending with a layer of whipped topping and berries.
  • Chill and serve: Refrigerate the trifle for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • For best results, use freshly baked red velvet cake.
  • Allow the trifle to chill longer if possible; this enhances the flavor.
