Description

These Ritz Cracker Party Sandwiches are an easy and delicious appetizer perfect for any gathering! With creamy filling between two crispy Ritz crackers, these bite-sized sandwiches are packed with flavor.   • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard (or yellow mustard, depending on preference)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup cooked ham or turkey, finely chopped (or use your favorite deli meat)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pickles (optional, for extra flavor)

 

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling:
    In a medium-sized bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, paprika, and salt and pepper. Mix well until smooth.

  2. Add the Other Ingredients:
    Stir in the finely chopped ham (or turkey), shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, and chopped pickles (if using). Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning with more salt, pepper, or mustard as needed.

  3. Assemble the Sandwiches:
    Lay out the Ritz crackers in pairs (one for the top and one for the bottom). Using a spoon or butter knife, spread a generous amount of the filling onto one cracker, then top with the second cracker to form a sandwich.

  4. Chill (Optional):
    If you have time, refrigerate the sandwiches for about 15-20 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together. However, they are delicious right after assembling as well!

  5. Serve:
    Arrange the sandwiches on a platter and serve. These can be served as is or cut in half for smaller bite-sized portions.
