Description

These delicious roast beef sliders are quick to prepare and packed with flavor. Perfect for parties, game days, or a simple family dinner, they combine tender roast beef, melted cheese, and optional caramelized onions, all nestled in soft slider buns.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
  • 12 slices of cheese (provolone, Swiss, or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup caramelized onions (optional)
  • 1/4 cup horseradish sauce or Dijon mustard sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the buns: Cut the slider buns in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  • Layer the ingredients: Spread your chosen sauce on the bottom halves. Add a layer of roast beef, followed by a slice of cheese. If desired, include caramelized onions.
  • Top and season: Place the top halves of the buns on. Mix the melted butter with garlic powder and brush it over the buns. Sprinkle with poppy seeds if you like.
  • Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. For a crispier top, remove the foil in the last 2 minutes.
  • Serve: Serve the sliders warm immediately for the best flavor.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding some sautéed mushrooms or jalapeños.
  • These sliders can be prepared in advance and baked just before serving.
