Description

A smooth and creamy roasted garlic dip with rich, mellow garlic flavor — perfect for veggies, chips, or spreading on bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 whole garlic bulb
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the top off the garlic bulb to expose the cloves. Drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 40 minutes until soft and golden.
  3. Once cooled, squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out of their skins into a bowl.
  4. Mix roasted garlic with cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and lemon juice until smooth.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives if desired.

Notes

  • Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a tangier, healthier dip.
  • Add a pinch of smoked paprika or cayenne for a spicy kick.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
